Microgaming have signed Expekt.com as a new licensee for their casino product.
The deal no doubt comes as a relief for Microgaming, following the success of rival Playtech in pulling off the high profile signings of big brands William Hill and Betfair recently.
Expekt.com are an industry stalwart, commencing online sports betting operations from their Malta base in 1999. They have since grown to become one of the industry's better known brands and a full service online gambling offering, expanding into casino, poker, bingo and live casino services.
Expekt.com's customer base is claimed to be an impressive one and a half million, making them a significant player in the industry and one which will no doubt add materially to Micrgaming's bottom line.
From Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever:
“We are extremely proud to partner with Expekt.com again as it is truly fantastic that a company with such impressive global reach has chosen us to deliver top-quality entertainment to its customers.”
Expekt.com will use Microgaming's download and browser based casino games, giving their players access to a massive 400 games and the largest value progressive games on the net, including Mega Moolah which starts the count at $1million and has already surpassed $6million.
As an aside, Expekt.com also recently signed 7 time major winning tennis legend Mats Wilander as an Expekt.com ambassador.
