Hop-on Inc. are one of many companies eagerly watching developments in Washington with respect to online gambling laws. Hop-on are looking at bringing mobile casino games to US iPhone users if and when Barney Frank's UIGEA busting Bill makes it to law.
Hop-on are a mobile application developer based in California, who have already invested considerable time and effort into their iPhone specific gaming applications. In fact, they have already submitted free play blackjack, roulette, slots and other games to Apple for approval and addition to the Apple application store.
Real money games will likely never make it into Apple's app. store as they are not permitted. But using a browser based workaround, Hop-on will still be able to offer their real play casino games to iPhone users, much the same way as other developers like Spin3 and Probability do currently.
All that is needed now is the legislative green light and a license.
"As we are in continued support of Rep. Barney Frank's proposed legislation to legalize Internet gambling, Hop-on is moving to release an app immediately after the passing of the bill," says Peter Michaels, Hop-on President and CEO.
According to Mobile Casino Info very few casinos currently offer real play casino games for the iPhone uses. Two that currently do are Ladbrokes and 32 Red, both of whom run their iPhone games on the Spin3 gaming platform and do not currently accept US players.
